JKs Masters Program started...

After the 2015 Crossfit Open. After just having made the Masters Qualifier for the second year in a row, I realized how important it was to focused on the premium skills and movements of Crossfit. I have now made it to the Masters Qualifier for 5 years in a row and decided to make the full program available for anyone that was interested. John has finished in 89th place in the 2016 Open and 64th in the Online Qualifier, and now his focus is on programming to not only make the Top 200, to make it beyond. In 2017, I finally made the top 20, and qualified for the Reebok Crossfit Games. I qualified in the 17th spot after the AOGQ, and finished the Crossfit Games in 16th place. 

The main goal of the FULL PROGRAM is for athletes to make the Masters Qualifying round (Top 200 in their age/gender group) and then see how far one can make it in that round. Much of the success of each athlete depends on their dedication and perseverance. Dedication to the program, to their diet, their training consistency, and the ability to persevere against the odds of limited time, real life responsibility, and day to day life. Unlike Regional and Games athletes, Masters have a lot going on beyond training. We have families, full time jobs, we are husbands and wives, mothers and fathers. And for this reason, this program is a great way to make it all work. 

The Full Program focuses on all the skills and strength elements that are most commonly found in Crossfit and that occur in the Crossfit Open. It is succinct, time sensitive, and has the right volume for the high level competitive Masters Athlete.

The Full Program gives you one months worth of programming for $11.99. It includes a complete warm up, a well thought out gymnastics and olympic lifting program, which includes accessory strength work. Of course it will include challenging WODs, sometimes more than one per day, as well as cool down work.. The Full Program will also feature explanations of the programming, tips on how to train and compete as well as progressions for more difficult movements. And finally, as a member of the Full Program, you will be allowed to send in one video a month for critique on any movement.

 

Once your sign up for the FULL PROGRAM, an email of the program will still be sent to your each week.  

The Short Program is for those without the time or energy to complete the full workout and is available at no cost. It is for those Masters Athletes who want to compete in the Open and be prepared for what ever is thrown at them.

The Short Program will include some gymnastics and weightlifting work, as well as a challenging WOD. By default, any one who subscribes will get the Short Program free of charge.
